If you’re a beauty lover living in or around one of Canada’s major cities (Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver), chances are you’ve made it to a Murale store – or at least heard of it/browsed online. Shopper’s Drug Mart’s super stylish big sister, Murale is an amazing beauty destination, with modern and beautiful displays and all of the latest beauty must-haves. I was able to stop in at a spring preview a little while ago and wanted to share some of my favourites from the newest spring launches which are showing up in Murale stores now.
Bioderma Photoderm Moisturising Tanning Spray ($19.95, available April 2014) – I’m sure most of you have heard of Bioderma before. Their micellar water is the stuff a beauty blogger’s dreams are made of, which I’m sure gives you an idea of why I’m so excited for this self-tanner. If this follows in the footsteps of the cleansing water, I can only imagine how well this will perform. As a pale gal, I’ve always been one to shy away from self-tanners – I have no desire to become a streaky, orange mess – but am definitely going to be giving this one a try.
Clarins Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate ($113, available April 2014) – This new intense serum, containing 20 different plant extracts, works deep down on the cellular and tissue levels of the skin to restore youth and vibrancy.
Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush ($175, available April 2014) – Yes! The Clarisonic is coming to Murale, which is amazing news. I’m obsessed with my Aria. My skin has never felt better and I’ve seen big changes since I’ve started using it. Well, the Clarisonic family will be even more accessible than ever once it hits Murale shelves. Oh, and did I mention Shoppers Optimum points??
Deborah Lippmann 80s Rewind Collection ($20 ea, available May 2014), Maniac pictured above – Oh, how I love me some bold, bright colours. The upcoming Deborah Lippmann 80s Rewind collection is exactly what you would expect – colourful and non-apologetic. And with shades that have names like Don’t Stop Believing, Video Killed the Radio Star and Walking on Sunshine, how could you go wrong?
Nest Eau de Parfum ($118, now available) – The three EDPs now available at Murale are very unique. The beautifully dark, decorated bottles definitely stand out, while the fragrance blends in each take on different moods. The Midnight Fleur Eau de Parfum (pictured above) is a sultry scent that combines exotic woods, patchouli and black amber with notes of night-blooming jasmine and vanilla orchid.
