I’ve got something fun to share with all of you! Over the holidays I received my first Julep Maven Box – I know I mentioned it briefly before when they had the great deal to purchase your first box for $0.01 – but now I actually have something to share with you. First, let me explain a little bit about what Julep Maven is: it’s a monthy subscription service (similar to Glymm and TopBox), but it is strictly nail care products. It costs $19.99 a month (you have the option to skip any months you don’t want)and is well worth it. Each box contains at least 2 nail polishes (which retail for $14 each on the site). The neat part is that the box you receive suits your style – before signing up, you take a quick style quiz to see which box is right for you. First up, I got the glycolic hand scrub (as it states, it’s a facial for your hands). I’ve used this a few times already, and I love it. It’s a nice treatment which exfoliates and moisturizes – especially perfect for the dry winter months. My hands felt nice and refreshed after using it. I also received samples of their age defying hand brightener and sunlight-activated laser lotion.
Julep Nail Polish in Nicole and Whitney – first off, I love the colours I received – both are shades that I would have bought myself, so I’m glad the style quiz picked them out for me! Look for posts coming soon with reviews of these shades!
And to top it all off – a pot of star shaped nail glitter. This is way too cute. I haven’t tried it on my nails yet, so I have yet to see how well this works… All I know is I’m tempted to put these adorable little stars on everything.
