As a beauty blogger, I’m always looking to try the latest and greatest products which will provide real results. I recently had the chance to try skincare products from Daniel Thompson Beauty – The Cleanser and The Moisturizer. The neat thing about the products is that they function as more than one thing, which is nice and convenient. They are also free of parabens, dyes and waxes – so you can feel comfortable about using them on your skin.
The Cleanser is a 4-in-1 product – it cleanses, removes makeup, exfoliates and tones, while The Moisturizer acts as a day cream, night cream, eye cream and specialty treatment. Two products that can replace 8? Sounds good to me. Think of all the shelf space you’ll save… Which you can immediately replace with the new summer makeup shades, right?
So far, I am really enjoying the combination of these two products. For starters, having two products that basically do everything you need is such a convenience – it really does cut down on time, albeit only a little, and it’s nice not having to go through several products every time I get ready for bed or prep my skin in the morning.
After using The Cleanser for about a week I was very happy to notice a difference in my overall skin texture. It was a little strange for me at first as I’m used to a foaming cleanser and this has more of the texture of a lotion, but I must say rinsing it off left my skin feeling nice and clean. It gently exfoliates which meant my skin really did feel softer and smoother as I continued to use it.
The Moisturizer is really nice as well – smooth and creamy – I have noticed my skin has felt less dry. The combination of the exfoliating cleanser and the moisturizer together is perfect. I’m very satisfied with how this has transformed my skin. The only downside for me is that The Moisturizer has a very light scent that reminds me of cinnamon hearts I’m not a big fan of cinnamon hearts, so this did put me off a little bit, but the results are so great that I can deal with the scent which disappears after applying.
