I know, running a little late on this one, but it was worth waiting for – I honestly have to say, this month’s box is my favourite out of the 6 months that GlossyBox has been in Canada… I’ll even go one step further and say that it’s the best beauty box I’ve received yet out of all of the companies. Take a look at my latest box – and don’t forget if you want to sign up, you can save $1.50 off your first box by using the code GLOSSY8 at checkout! Here’s what was inside:
Sebastian Potion 9 Light (50 mL sample – full size 150 mL/$20.95) – This is exactly what it sounds like – a magic potion for your hair – it conditions, restores and enhances manageable styling. I will definitely give this a try. I love Sebastian products and my hair is getting a little damaged and dried out from colouring and styling it, so I’m hoping this will help to whip it back into shape and help it look and feel healthier!
Biore Makeu-up Removing Towelettes (10 ct – $3.99) – I love love love makeup removing towelettes. They’re so perfect for the nights you’re too lazy to wash your face (don’t lie to me, I know we’ve all been there!), after a workout, or just for refreshing your face. I’ve been using these for a while now, and this 10 count pack is perfect for stashing in my purse and being on the go. Love it!
Kryolan for GlossyBox lipstick (no price – exclusive for GB members only!) – I absolutely adore this. GlossyBox teamed up with Kryolan to create a one of a kind lipstick exclusively for subscribers, which I think is so awesome. The colour is a really pretty pink – I’ll definitely be putting my GlossyBox lipstick to good use!
Layla Mascara in Glitter (Full Size – $15.99) – I think this is such a neat product. You actually apply this over your mascara to add glitter to your look. It’s a really neat idea, and I love anything that sparkles, so I’m really excited to wear this. I tried it on over my mascara, and it’s a really neat, glitzy addition to your normal look.
Befine Fine Food Skincare (5 packets – $2.00 each) – This month’s GlossyBox included a sampling of Befine’s products – a packet each of their exfoliating cleanser, gentle cleanser, night cream, pore refining scrub treatment and warming clay mask – these are really intriguing and I’m looking forward to giving them a try on a relaxing night in!
Elastoplast SOS Blister (1 sample – 5/$5.99) – I’ve actually been wanting to give these a try – I didn’t expect it to show up in my GlossyBox but it’s a nice addition! These strong bandaids are made to help blisters heal faster – perfect for when one shows up from a new pair of heels!
Ahava Mineral body lotion – this was a little bonus thrown into this month’s box – as part of their6 month anniversary, GB decided to throw in a little reminder from the first box which is really cute – plus this stuff is awesome!
This month’s box also included a mystery gift card from Trend Trunk – a new site that allows you to buy, sell and donate pre-loved fashion. The cards ranged in value from $5 – $250 – mine was only $5, but I’ll still take a look around the site to see if I can find anything amazing!
I really have to say, I was so impressed with this month’s box – it was jam packed with amazing products I know I’ll love. Want to try out GlossyBox?? Sign up here and use the code GLOSSY8 to save $1.50 off your first box!
