This month will see the release of the new Dior Pink Champagne Collection, which will be available exclusively at Holt Renfrew. This collection features a combination of beautiful pink and gold tones for a radiant and feminine look. Available in this collection will be the Diorskin Nude Shimmer Compact, Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Sparkle, Dior Vernis in two shades (Tutu and Golden Light) and Dior Twinset Eyeshadow in Beige Ribbon.
Dior Twin Set Eyeshadow in Beige Ribbon ($30) – This multipurpose eyeshadow tool features two unique ends – a soft, golden shadow cream stick on one and a shimmery powder on the other. Together, these are perfect for creating a gorgeous, gilded look. This eyeshadow pen was based on a makeup artists’ backstage makeup trick – applying grease shadow first before setting with powder to ensure for long-lasting wear. The eyeshadow stick applies very smoothly, while the powder (the powder is actually hidden in the lid, where it continues to dust the sponge applicator) is a darker shade of gold to add a little bit more of a smokey effect.
Dior Vernis in Tutu ($24) – This soft pink shade has the perfect name – I felt like a ballerina when I applied it! This polish is very opaque, and after 2 coats I had the perfect application.
Diorskin Poudre Shimmer in Rose Diamond ($45) – This ultra-shimmering all over face powder is perfect for highlighting and adding a little more of a glow to your look. Applied all together, you get a nice rosy glow with a hint of gold and a little bit of shimmer. I find that this also has multiple uses – swiping on just the darker shades gives more of a blush, while each shade can also be worn as a light eyeshadow to help complement the flush on your cheeks.
