I recently received the Pulp Cosmetics O-Gasm Daily Oil Cleanser to try out. Pulp Cosmetics may be a new name to you – they were for me too! They’re a natural skin care brand based out of the US –and they’re completely cruelty free. They focus on creating skincare products with cheeky names that are made to suit all skin types. If you want to give them a try, I suggest checking out their starter kit, which contains their O-gasm Cleanser, G-strip Exfoliator and Power Hy Serum.
The O-gasm Daily Oil Cleanser is said to “Clear the Skin, Fight Wrinkles, Remove Makeup and infuse your skin with a daily dose of vitamins + antioxidants.” I was a little anxious when I heard the word oil, I’m not going to lie. I tend to get a little shiny throughout the day and wasn’t really looking forward to adding any unnecessary oil to my face. Good news – it turns out this cleanser isn’t oily at all – it actually comes out in more of a gel form and is very lightweight. I think that this cleanser would be perfect for someone with sensitive skin who reacts to products easily,as the formula was very light and gentle on the skin. I really like the way it applied, leaving my skin feeling really clean and fresh. The only downside for me was that it didn’t remove my eye makeup very well, and I had to use a makeup remover afterwards to get the rest of my mascara off my lashes. I do have to say I really love the fact that rose hip oil is included in the ingredients in this product, which is essentially a skin multivitamin that is full of antioxidants and essential fatty acids.
Price: $14/2 oz tube, $26/6 oz bottle

Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a lightweight cleanser that won’t dry out your skin, yet doesn’t leave it feeling oily, this cleanser is perfect. Rose hip oil is an added bonus – like a superfood for skin.
