Lise Watier’s beautiful new collection for summer 2013, India Gold, was inspired by a trip Mme Watier took to India last year. This collection, comprised of 13 different pieces, was designed to capture the beautiful colours and emotions that followed her throughout the journey. I have most of the collection to share with you today. Take a look – this collection will be available now to the end of July 2013.
Lise Watier Palette India Eyeshadows, $42 – This is my favourite item out of the collection. Beautiful packaging, beautiful colours. It includes 6 shades inspired by india – 3 in golden/bronze hues, a pink, and 2 darker shades. They have a lovely silky finish with a bit of shimmer.
Lise Watier Duo Shadow & glitter in Jewel of India, $26 – Let me start off by saying these are ah-mazing. This combination of champagne cream eyeshadow and shimmering gold micro-glitter is spectacular. Worn along, the shadow looks fantastic – it has great colour and a little bit of sheen. Layer the glitter on top (it sticks nicely to it) for an out of this world glam look.
Lise Watier Taj Mahal Powder, $29 – Spray this shimmering powder onto your skin for a beautiful sheen – perfect for highlighting or adding a little oomph for a night out – it just looks so pretty. Tip: Apply it after body lotion for a lasting look!
Lise Watier Rouge Gourmand in Pomme Cannelle, $21 (also available in Cupcake) – It may look a little orange-y in the tube, but once applied it gives the lips a really nice, warm look that seems more coral. This lipstick has a little bit of shimmer and a really creamy texture. It also has the Maxi-Lip formula so it helps to moisturize as you wear.
Lise Watier Gloss Bollywood, $22 – I’ll admit, I was a little scared of this gloss at first – it has a bit of a purple look to it that I wasn’t sure was going to work on me.That being said, once applied it looked more on the pink side with purple flecks throughout it that were really pretty – it added another dimension to the look. Smooth formula, not sticky.
Lise Watier Blush-On Powder in Rose Eclat, $26 – This soft pink blush is perfect for creating a nice rosy glow. It’s on the lighter side, so it does create a really nice flush. Just make sure you blend it in well so the colour isn’t too bright.
Lise Watier Nail Lacquer in Sundara, $13 (also available in Gulabi, not shown) – For this collection, Lise Watier decided to add two new nail lacquer shades (if you haven’t seen my previous post about this, they actually have a light in the cap to make it easier to see what you’re doing). The formula is really nice – I need about 2-3 shades for perfect pigmentation. This purple shade is gorgeous and flows so well with the rest of the collection.
Also available in the collection but not shown: Eyebrow Fix Brow Control Gel, India Eau de Toilette Spray, India Blush Brush.
Which of these are you coveting?
