This summer, YSL decided to introduce these beautiful new 3 layer polish “Tie & Dye” top coats to their line. Once shaken up to blend the layers together, these 3-phase polishes combine together shine, colour and shimmer for a beautiful finish. These limited edition top coats can be worn alone for a pretty sheer look or on top of polish to add a beautiful layer of shimmer. They are available starting this month in 4 shades: Cool Coat, Pop Coat, Hip Coat & Ice Coat.
I’ve decided to try out all four so that you can take a look – they leave a really pretty iridescent shimmer that adds more dimension to your nails. I applied these over polishes that I thought would work well with them so you can get an idea of how easy they are to pair. I really don’t believe that my camera was able to capture just how pretty these look on. I did not apply the top coats to my index finger nails so that you can really get a good idea of how they look on.
