I love summer – the weather is hot, I get to wear shorts and dresses, and some of the year’s best movies hit the box office. Splat wants to make sure you get to take in one of the summer’s most anticipate flicks, Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (out August 21st, 2013), and I’ve teamed up with them so ensure one of you doesn’t miss it!
I’m sure most of you have seen previews for this movie so far, but if not, here’s a little bit of background info on it: Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures. This movie is definitely on my must-see list this summer and I know I’m not alone here.
