Nicole by OPI decided to put myself and several other bloggers to the ultimate nail art test – our challenge? To create the perfect summer mani using 2 shades from the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez collection, Hit the Lights (a not-so-mellow yellow) and Spring Break! (an amazing hot pink). I decided to try out my nail art skills to create a mani that totally shows off what summer is all about.
When I saw this colour combo, I was immediately transported to the beach, complete with toes in the sand, palm trees swaying in the warm breeze, and the most beautiful tropical sunset in the background. I decided to start off with Hit the Lights on my thumb and index finger, while an easy gradient (let me know if you would like to see a tutorial) changed the scene to Spring Break! on the middle. I decided to throw in a Hit the Lights palm tree on my ring finger for some tropical fun!
