This fall, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director, decided to bring her nails to the West Coast for the OPI San Francisco Collection. With a range of reds, burgundies, browns and some grays and blues thrown in for good measure, this collection was inspired by the feel of San Fran and some of its most iconic elements – think the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown and the Embarcadero. This collection brings together 15 new shades, including 3 additions to the Liquid Sand family.
“To me, the women of San Francisco and the city itself really epitomize today’s multifaceted beauty consumer,” says Weiss-Fischmann. “San Francisco offers a European flair with distinct West Coast attributes. These elements inspired a collection of urban chic nail lacquer shades, thanks to the sophisticated combination of high fashion and eclectic street style.”
Personally, I’m really loving the OPI San Francisco collection – the combination of shades has a really sophisticated feel that I think is perfect for the fall-winter season. I do have to say that the blues and silvers are what really caught my attention – Haven’t The Foggiest is hands down (nails down?) my favourite out of the collection. It’s the perfect sexy gunmetal silver that is a total attention seeker.
I’ve swatched three of my fave shades from the collection for you below, and have also included images of the other 9 lacquers. Take a look and let me know which shades from the OPI San Francisco Collection you’re going to be going after!
