As a beauty blogger, there’s nothing better than having a great hair day. Don’t you just love the feeling of sleek, smooth strands with every hair falling perfectly in place? Me too. There’s nothing I would love more than looking like I just walked out of a hair commercial every day, but unfortunately I don’t have a team of hairstylists ready to prep my locks every morning before I leave the house.

This system, made up of the 7 Day Keratin Smooth Shampoo, Conditioner and Heat Activated Treatment, was designed to produce salon-smooth results that can last up to seven days when used together. Frizz-free, sleek hair without any damaging treatments or products? I had to give it a try.
It’s extremely simple to use. Start off by washing your hair with the shampoo and conditioner, then apply the Heat Activated Treatment to damp hair section by section before blow drying. Once the hair is dry, all you have to do is run a flat iron through it – the products are heat activated, so this really gets them working away. The treatment will last up to a week, even through washes (just use the 7 Day Keratin Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner to maximize results).
Thanks to TRESemmé and Glam Canada, I was able to give this system a try while I shared the results on Instagram. You can check all 7 days here, but I’ve included a few pictures in this post to give you a general idea of how it all went. So, what did I think? I was pleasantly surprised to find that my hair really did feel softer and smoother. Not only that, but it looked shinier and brighter! I didn’t actually realize how much of a difference it made in the appearance of my hair until my boss commented on it and asked if I had just gotten it done at the salon. I guess that really speaks to the results I experienced and how my hair reacted to the treatment! I really enjoyed using these products. They made my life easier and helped give some more life to my hair. Definitely the closest I’m going to come to having a personal hair stylist… For now.
