Looking for some fun this upcoming long weekend? I’ve got the perfect solution for those of you looking to add a little sassiness to your weekend – the Tease on the Seas Burlesque Boat Cruise! Two Dames Productions (the fantastic Ava Noir & Miss dd Starr), along with Benefit Cosmetics, is bringing Burlesque to Lake Ontario on August 30th (boarding at 8:00 at the Toronto Harbour, sailing at 9:00), for a night full of performances from some of Toronto’s premier burlesque dancers. There will be tons more to enjoy as well, with Benefit Cosmetics’ complimentary lips & lashes booth, photo boot and best dressed prizes (go figure, the dress code is naughty nautical 😉 ). Advance tickets are on sale now for $35, and will be available at the dock for $40.
The event, hosted by Dr. Mysterion with DJ Johnny B Goode, will feature performances from Ava Noir, Betty Quirk, Miss. dd Starr, Esther DeVille, Frenchie Fatale, The Harlettes, Percy Katt, Rubie Magnitude, Tanya Cheex, Trixie Jones and Canada’s Queen of Burlesque, Roxi DLite. Its going to be an amazing night aboard the River Gambler that I’m sadly going to have to miss this time around… But I want to make sure someone else experiences it in my place, so the lovely ladies from Two Dames are going to hook one of you up with a pair of tickets!
