As some of you may know, I’m getting ready to make the move to Toronto in the spring. While it’s still a little ways away (April), I’ve been totally distracted with thoughts of what I’m going to do with my space. I haven’t even found a place yet but I’ve definitely been doing a little preparatory designing in my head.
When it comes to decorating my space to make it my own, one of the things that I’ve become obsessed with lately to add a little flair is prints. There are so many different options available and it’s nearly impossible to not find something that will fit in with your home and style.
I’ve recently come across a new site which is going to be the perfect pal for my inner decorator come move in time. Minted, an online stationary store. The really neat thing about this online store, which sells a variety of printed items including prints, stationary & invites (many of which is customizable), is that everything comes from a global community of artists, making everything so unique.
Naturally, I headed straight to the art collection to take a look at the prints and to scope out what would fit nicely into my future apartment. I was so happy to see such a wide variety of prints available, ranging from geometric shapes to photos to beautiful typography for starters.
I was definitely drawn to some of the more geometric patterns and the gold foil art, as these have so much character and would easily add a ton of flair to any room – especially my future office. I also have a bit of an obsession with foxes, and the Swift Fox print instantly caught my eye. I’ve got a few of these ready in my cart waiting for me to make my final decision.
I’ve also taken a peek through some of Minted’s other offerings and I must say I’m sold. I’ve got my eye on a few different business card designs right now – perfect timing seeing as I just ran out of my current cards!
