Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Mine was fun but lazy, and meant catching up on some much needed relaxation time.
Have you ever thought about your skin? I mean, really thought about it? My friends at Dermalogica have developed a technique called Face Mapping, which allows your skin to be given a thorough inspection to see which areas are doing great and those that could use a bit of help. Last month I had a chance to head to the Dermalogica headquarters to get mapped.
How does it work? The face is broken down into different zones, which are then analyzed by a certified Dermalogica Skin Therapist. It’s a great way to discover which areas of the face need a little TLC from dealing with different stressors & dehydration and to learn how to deal with the skin issues that bother you. I found out that my under eye area & the corners of my eyes are quite thirsty and are in need of a moisture boost, which was one of the areas that has started the bug me a little more – I’m not down with premature aging and knowing this & other factors that have been affecting my skin has given me the chance to take a more proactive approach to dealing with them. I was also given a list of recommendations for Dermalogica products that can help my skin issues. The best part? It doesn’t take more than 5-10 minutes of your time.
Anyways, Dermalogica is on a mission to map faces across Canada with their Face Map Our Nation campaign, which will be wrapping up on June 30th. I wanted to share so some of you can hopefully take advantage of a free skin mapping session – you can find a spot to get mapped here. Let me know if you decide to try it out – I would love to hear all about it!
