I was recently introduced to ça va de soi, a Montreal-based knitwear line. Since 1972, founders Antoine Nasri & Odile Bougain (along with their family) have been bringing luxurious, high quality knits to the fashion scene. With carefully selected fibers from around the world, they’ve created a line of not-so-basic basics that combine the best of quality with comfort, for items that are breathable, long lasting and able to be worn throughout any season. I’ve pulled together some of my favourite items to take you through the summer – and beyond.
1. Cozy up around the campfire with the Debbie 3/4 sleeve Jacquard Sweater. I adore the pattern and this sweater will be sure to keep you warm without getting too hot while sitting around the fire on a gorgeous summer night.
2. You can never be wedding season ready without a fab wrap scarf. The Orane Summer Scarf is beyond soft and perfect for covering up during the ceremony or afterwards when you talk a walk to cool down. This scarf may be a bit of an investment, but the “perfect cotton” it’s made of will never pill, fade or lose its sheen.
3. A great crop top can really survive throughout the year depending on how you pair it, but is especially in style in the summer. This Mireille crop fits perfect with a bit of stretch and a little discreet support for your girls, making it the ultimate beach and festival ready top.
4. There’s nothing worse than heading to the office or a fun night out during the summer looking great and having your clothes become a wrinkled mess after fighting through the heat to get there. This Delfine skirt is form fitting, lightweight and wrinkle-free, so you always look completely put together. I’m obsessed with the crochet detail!
