Hola! I’ve been a bit absent the past few weeks – I started a new job (I get to work with some amazing beauty and fashion brands!) and life has been absolutely hectic as I’ve been settling into my new role. My apologies!
Anyways, a few months back I became an ambassador for Viviscal, a natural supplement that promotes healthy hair growth. You may remember my original post as I began my Viviscal journey and started taking the supplements from a little while ago. I’ve now come to the end of my 6 month trial with it and am ready to spill the beans on how everything went!
In case you did miss my original post, I’ll give you a quick little overview of Viviscal. As I mentioned, it’s a hair supplement system system (see ingredients below) that is meant to be taken 1-2 times per day – I like to take it in the morning when I wake up and again before bed. The system was created to help improve the health of hair from the inside out, with results beginning to show in 3-4 months. It works in 4 steps:
Stage 1: Viviscal works to nourish hair follicles from within
Stage 2: Strengthens and supports hair from the inside out
Stage 3: Supports the hair to become healthy and strong where it has become damaged
Stage 4: Makes your hair noticeably thicker, fuller, healthier looking and more vibrant
So, how did it go? Personally, I’m really happy with the results. I’ve included some before and after photos so you can judge for yourself from a physical stand point.
The biggest improvement for me was the rate at which my hair grew. I’ve been wanting to grow my hair out for a while but I swear my locks grow at a turtle’s pace. As you can see from the pictures, I did have a significant amount of growth (with two hair cuts in between) and I definitely noticed that it grew more quickly. I’m very happy about this and I’ve continued to take the supplements, just at a rate of one per day. Another great change I noticed was in the feel of my hair. My split ends have been lessened (I’ll admit it, I’m not always the best at treating my hair well), my hair feels softer and I’ve noticed a lot more shine! It did take a few months before I started noticing these changes, so you do have to be dilligent with following the system and taking the supplements daily – don’t give up if you don’t see a difference after the first few weeks because it does take a little time to start working.
As for side effects? I honestly didn’t notice any changes or issues while taking the supplements. I was a little worried about an increase in oiliness as they do contain fish oils, or potential break outs, but I didn’t experience any issues with either of these, and I didn’t hear of anything from any of the other ambassadors. I can’t speak to anyone else’s experience, but I wanted to let you know that everything was good on my end.
So as a final result, was I happy with Viviscal? Absolutely, and as I mentioned I’ve continued to take the supplements since. I think this system is good for anyone to use, but especially those dealing with thinning hair, dullness or lack of volume and those looking to give their hair a growth boost. For any of your looking to try this product out, it’s available at Shoppers Drug Mart or Viviscal.ca for $59.99/box (1 month).
Now I’ve got a question for you: who wants to give Viviscal a try? I’m going to be giving away a 6 month supply so that you can try it out for yourself. All you have to do is comment on this post letting me know why you want to give Viviscal a try.
