I did it! As I mentioned previously, Dixie Outlet Mall asked me to take part in their newest She Who Hunts Finds shopping challenge. Last week I headed to the mall, armed with a $200 gift card, to see what I could find and to put together my perfect fall outfit. I had a great time checking out the deals at the different stores in the mall… You should have seen some of the deals! I was pretty blown away by the selection available and the great prices. By the end of the day, I managed to put together a killer outfit, with two top options for $200. Read on to see what I found, where I found it and what I managed to save!
Of course, I had to start off at one of my fave deal hunting stores, Winners! This was the perfect place to get started and to kick off my hunt. I managed to find the base of my outfit here, scoring two fab tops to spin my outfit around. I immediately grabbed this red plaid shirt ($25, suggested retail $40 – $15 savings) – it’s the perfect piece for the fall, bringing a casual vibe to my wardrobe. I then fell in love with this oversized sweater ($35, suggested retail $60 – $25 savings). It’s the perfect cozy sweater and I love that it’s a little versatile; it can be worn open or can be wrapped up at the neck for a warmer look. I knew I wanted a pair of jeans to go along with these and headed to Urban Planet to find a great deal on a pair. I snatched up these comfy skinny jeans ($25, suggested retail $30 – $5 savings) which when perfectly with the outfit I had in mind!
I wanted a cute bag to go along with this outfit and decided to stop by Payless when I saw a sign advertising deals on purses. This fringed crossbody ($17, suggested retail $37 – $20 savings) was super cute and an amazing deal! I also snatched up the perfect grey tank top ($3, full price – but at that price, do you even need a discount?) at Sirens to throw on under everything.
Now, since I had been so good and managed to save $65 I decided it was time to splurge a little. I’ve had my eye on these killer booties ($70) from Call It Spring and knew that this was the perfect chance to grab them – and they went perfectly with my outfit! I definitely don’t even mind that I paid full price for them since they’re the perfect booties to take me into fall.
