Choosing a fragrance is such a personal thing. As a blogger, I’ve had a chance to test out many different scents from different brands, and it’s always such an interesting experience trying a new one. While I’m pretty open to giving a new fragrance a try, I’ve learned over the years that I tend to lean towards those that fall on the sweeter side.
As a teenager, I fell in love with the beauty industry. I was always eager to get my hands on new makeup, skincare & fragrances, and Juicy Couture has always produced some of my favourite scents. The newest addition to the family, I Am Juicy Couture, has continued my love affair with them, quickly becoming one of my favourites and finding a welcome place on my vanity.
Sweet, fruity and bold, but with a sassy side, the I Am Juicy Couture eau de parfum begins by building up a fruity base, with raspberry, pomelo and passion fruit giving it the sweet feel that I’ve come to love from Juicy Couture, while floral notes like gardenia & sweet pea add more body to it. Of course, it still has a seductive side to it, with a bit of spice being added by soft musks, cashmere woods and candied amber.
Notably, the opulent bottle gives the fragrance the perfect finish, with a gem-like shape and glam cap, complete with rhinestones and chain detailing that gives a nod to Juicy Couture’s traditional aesthetic. Needless to say, this bottle has been sitting proudly on display in my room.
