There are two things you need to know about me; I absolutely love false lashes and I seriously struggle to apply them. Velour Lashes recently reached out to see if I would be interested in giving their mink lashes a try and I was a little hesitant at first. I mean, was I just going to totally embarrass myself with a sad lash application. Velour Lashes recently rebranded (I had my first chance to see the packaging at a Murale preview a couple of months ago) & the new packaging is gorgeous and luxe. I gave the You Complete Me & Girl, You Crazy! lashes a try and my god are they ever gorgeous. The (cruelty free, naturally shedding) mink hairs are so soft and full, they really blend in seamlessly with the natural lashes for a gorgeous look. They’re also attached to a cotton band that’s a little more flexible and can be easily manipulated to follow the lash line.
They’ve also created this amazing tool, the Too Easy Lash Applicator, that honestly makes application a walk in the park. As I previously mentioned, I sometimes have trouble applying lashes, but this tool makes it easy to get a good grip on them and to really get in over your own lashes so you can set them in place where you want them.
