There’s something so magical about the name Chanel. It evokes feelings of luxury, a glimpse of glamour and beauty. I’ve always been in awe of the beauty side of the brand, which always seems to come out with new products and fragrances that continue to build on this feeling. The newest addition to the fragrance family, Chanel COCO MADEMOISELLE Eau de Parfum Intense, continues in this vein.
Continuing on the path that was started with the original COCO MADEMOISELLE fragrance in 2001, COCO MADEMOISELLE Eau de Parfum Intense has a sense of rebelliousness to it, perfect for the woman who wants her scent to be seductive yet determined – much like its namesake. Notes of citrus (from Sicilian orange and Calabrain bergamot) intertwine with delicate fruity notes before giving way to patchouli, rose and jasmine. It’s a scent that starts off bold before softening; always holding up the intensity with a higher concentration of patchouli.
It’s fresh and feminine, but still brazen. Olivier Polge, Perfumer-Creator for the House of Chanel, notes that “ I wanted to increase the proportions of fractionated patchouli. Push it to the limit. Unleash its power on the skin without altering the freshness of the top notes.”
To follow along with the launch of the new Chanel COCO MADEMOISELLE Eau de Parfum Intense, they’ve released a new short film starring Keira Knightley (the face of COCO MADEMOISELLE), which acts as a continuation of the 3 videos that had been previously created (watch parts 1, 2 and 3 here).
