It’s certainly been starting to feel like spring for the past couple of days – yesterday I wore a leather jacket and was so happy to not have to bundle up (though we’re going to ignore the fact that they’re calling for snow tonight). Now that we have somewhat nicer weather to look forward to, I wanted to share a few things that I’m loving for spring 2019!
- New sunglasses! A new, sunnier season means a chance to pick up some new shades. I have a tendency to go for a wayfarer shape but decided to try something with a bit more of an updated aviator look to kick spring off. These Carolina Herrera shades I found online have
beautiful shape and add a bit of feminine edge to the traditional aviator.
2. Dewy, glowing skin – The new season is a chance to feel and look refreshed, which means casting off the winter dullness and getting a bit of glow back into your skin. I’ve been loving adding the Indeed Laboratories Squalane Facial Oil (available at Shoppers Drug Mart!) mixed into my foundation for a soft, dewy finish, and have been using StriVectin Tri-Phase Daily Glow Toner and Shiseido Essential Energy Day Cream SPF 20 to give my skin a healthy, hydrated feel.
2. Florals! To me, nothing says spring like fun floral prints. Whether they’re small and subtle or bold and bright, I love a fun print. I picked up this jumpsuit from Dynamite and love the pattern on it!
4. Fun Photo Spots – HideSeek opened in Toronto this week and it’s the perfect place to go for a hint of 90s nostalgia. I had a chance to check it out and absolutely loved the setup and creativity that went into it – it was a chance to feel like a kid all over again. It’s in town for a little while and worth a visit, especially if you want to take some cool pics!
