Who’s ready for some excitement? For Day 3 of the 12 Days of Cheer, we’re going to be chatting about fun with family and friends and creating great experiences that you’ll cherish forever. Why’s that? Well, today’s brand of the day is Mattel Games!
When it comes to spending time with family and friends there’s nothing I love more than a good game night. We have quite the growing board game collection and love to pull them out whenever we have a chance. Get some fun holiday treats together, call up a few people you love and spend time having fun competitions over your fave games – does it get better than that?
Mattel Games has some great options that are perfect for a little family time this holiday season. Not only that, they make for great gifts as well… And hey, if you gift one to someone it just means that they have to have you over for a game night soon, right?
Here are a few of my fave games this holiday season that will be fun for the whole family:
- Blokus is one of those games that I love because they’re simple. It’s a fun strategy game that’s unbelieveably easy to play, which makes it a quick one to get into without lots of explanataion – my kind of game! It’s pretty simple – place your pieces on the board and try to occupy as much of it as possible to win. The only catch? The next piece you play must be connected to another one of yours at the corner. Fun to play, just as fun to win.
- Love Pictionary? If you’re ready to take things to a new (and super modern) level, Pictionary Air is going to be at the top of your list! This version puts a fun, digital twist on the original with the illustrator wand. Draw in the air and the app will show your drawing on screen – throw it up on the tv and let everyone join in on the guessing! Interact with your drawing to make the experience even more fun.
- Put your speed and accuracy to the test with a game of Crossed Signals. This game encourages players to get moving as they respond to light and voice cues that indicate the actions they need to take, moving the controllers in different directions quickly to get the highest score!
