WMCFW SS 14 Day 3 Beauty: Joe Fresh, Mackage, Triarchy

Well, Fashion Week is almost over but that doesn’t mean the beauty looks will stop coming.  I’m onto Day 3 now so take a look!

Hair: Start with clean straight hair; use Redken Diamond Oil Shatterproof Shine for a sleek shine.  Part hair to the left, making the part far over enough that you can make a side sweep over the forehead.  Smooth over the part and pull hair into a low, chic ponytail. Take a piece of hair and wrap around the elastic, securing with a bobby pin. Finish by spraying Redken Fashion Works 12 to secure any fly aways.

Makeup: The crux of this look is a bold, bushy brow – a major beauty trend that shows no sign of slowing down in the coming seasons. Brush light, short strokes of Maybelline New York EyeStudio Master Shape Brow Pencil into the eyebrow to appear sophisticated, wide-awake and undeniably ladylike.

Makeup: After evening out the complexion withMaybelline New York Fit Me! Foundation, give this look a hit of unexpected edge with a swipe of Maybelline New York EyeStudio Master Drama Cream Pencil in Made of Steel along the bottom waterline.

Nails: For this look, Rita Remark continued the silver theme.  She started with a pale pink base, added a silver chrome French tip, and finished with Matte About You.

Hair: Start with clean natural textured hair and then spray in Redken Signature Looks Fashion Waves 07 Texturizing Sea Spray for added texture and a piece-like look.  Section the front starting from the ear over the head to the other ear – pull forward and clip.  Pull the remaining hair in the back of head into a soft French braid; no need for perfection – a loose, disheveled braid gives a softer look.  Take the clip out of the front and pull two sides into a loose braid, leaving the front “fringe” secured. Pull the new braid back on top of the low French braid to a loose gather and secure with bobby pins.  Take the remaining “fringe” section out of clip and give a slight backcombing for volume, and spray with Redken Fashion Work 12.  Secure with bobby pins to your desired height. Braid any remaining strands of hair and pull back, securing with bobby pins. (how gorgeous is this massive braid?)
