With spring finally here, it’s time to get you skin in tip top shape – and with love in full bloom, you’re definitely going to want to spend some time on your lips. Bright lipsticks are coming in full force, and in order for these to look their best, you will need to start with a good base.
I recently had the opportunity to try a product from Elizabeth Grant’s “The Socializer” line which is perfect for buffing off any dry skin, leaving you with a smooth, soft pout – Can You Keep A Secret? Lip Exfoliator and Conditioning Balm ($38.00).
This product is really neat – it’s actually two products in one – the main tube is used for the exfoliator, while a small tub of balm is attached to the end.
The exfoliator is super easy to use – you start by twisting the tube for 3 clicks so the exfoliator comes through the tip, then press the (adorable) lip button in order to start the light vibrations, and massage the tip on your lips to remove dead skin cells. It leaves your lips feeling nice and smooth.
Afterwars, the conditioning balm can be applied to moisturize. The neat thing about this is that the tub of balm is actually removable from the exfoliator, so you can carry it around in your purse without having the bring the exfoliator along.
I’m a really big fan of this product, and like I said, it will definitely come in handy when prepping your lips for spring’s bright lipsticks (or a little action 😉 ). I find that it really helps to buff lips to the perfect condition, which is fantastic as we come out of the winter months and find our lips needing a little TLC.\
