I’m about to take off in a plane (tomorrow afternoon, to be exact), and the Dior Summer 2016 Milky Dots Collection could not have come at a better time! This collection is seriously turning up the heat, with sultry shades and a touch of colour that has me looking forward to the beach. Shall we take a walk through it?
Give your skin a natural looking glow that suggests you’ve been spending some time in the sun with the Diorskin Nude Air Glow Powder in 001 Fresh Tan & 002 Fresh Light. Swirl the shades together using the included kabuki brush and add a natural looking tan to your face. Fresh Tan (on the left) has a hint of golden shimmer throughout, while Fresh Light (on the right) has more of a matte finish.
Afterwards, add a little more life to your summer glow with the Diorskin Nude Air Summer Glow Powder, a bronzey loose powder with beautiful golden shimmer. Add a tan highlight to the skin wherever the sun hits with a quick dusting of this beautiful powder. Try using it on your body as well to add a little sheen!
Your eyes deserve a summer glow as well, and the Dior 5 Couleurs Palette in 536 Escapade will give them just that. 5 shades come together for a beautiful, sandy palette that gives a bronzed sunset look. The collection also features the 366 Bain de Mer palette, not pictured here.
This collection also sees a new version of the Eye Reviver palette. The Illuminating Neutrals Eye Palette has been updated for spring, with warmer, glowing shades.
In keeping with the polka dot theme of the collection, Dior has come up with three Colour & Dots Manicure Kits, combinations of two complementary nail polish shades with a dotting tool to create fun, summer manis. Start off with one shade of the duo, then use the dotting tool to apply polka dots of the second shade in whichever way you like!
Bottom – 376 Milky Pop
Wash your lips in a light, pastel glaze with these tinted lip milks. Slightly cloudy, they give the lips a hint of shiny colour, while adding in moisture and softness. Also available in 156 Milky Pastel & 356 Milky Peach.
Finally, give your lips a natural boost with the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in 006 Beige Sunrise. This new tan shade has a hint of shimmer to it to give your lips a plump, luscious look.
